The SCPI commands of the MHO900 measured so far, what each does in our own words, and two answers side by side: the one the real stock firmware gave and the one NovaOS gives to the same query. Measured with nothing connected to the inputs and no logic probe attached, so a refusal can depend on that. Commands not measured on the stock firmware yet are not shown; some or all commands of: *, ACQuire, AUToset, BODeplot, CHANnel, CLEar, COUNter, CURSor, DISPlay, HISTogram, LA, MASK, NAVigate, QUICk, RECord, REFerence, RUN, SEARch, SINGle, SOURce, STOP, SYSTem, TFORce, TIMebase, WAVeform. They follow as the measurements are made.
Each command was sent to both firmwares and the answers compared. Hover a badge for what it means.
| Verdict | Commands | Meaning |
|---|---|---|
| match | 229 | NovaOS gives the same answer as the stock firmware. |
| format | 44 | Same value, written differently (digits, exponent or case). |
| differs | 8 | NovaOS answers with a different value. |
| stock ≠ guide | 88 | The stock firmware does not do what Rigol's Programming Guide says; see the errata. |
| missing in NovaOS | 0 | The stock firmware answers; NovaOS does not have it yet. |
| not in guide | 0 | The firmware answers a command the Programming Guide does not list. |
