Bode plot with the built-in generator

A Bode sweep that settles, checks and averages each point before it moves on.

What it does

At every point the sweep lets the circuit settle, checks that the input really carries the new frequency (a frame still holding the last one is skipped), and averages gain and phase until the result stops moving. You choose Fast, Normal or Precise, or the settle, measured periods and averages yourself, and the sweep says how long it will take before it starts.

Save .csv writes a Bode file in the same format as the stock firmware's; the HTML report adds each point's uncertainty. It runs on the DHO914S and DHO924S's generator and on both of the MHO900's.

How to use it

  1. Open the Bode window, pick Fast, Normal or Precise on the Per point row, and Run.
  2. Over SCPI: :NOVAos:BODeplot:SETTle, :CYCLes and :AVERages.

On Rigol's firmware

DHO800: no such hardware · DHO900: on the S models · MHO900: a Rigol paid option.

Where it stands
