1-Wire through a DS2482 I2C bridge

One view from a microcontroller's I2C write to the 1-Wire part's answer.

Add-on video coming

No video of this feature yet. It will be filmed on our own scopes, working end to end, before it goes on sale.

What it does

A decoder layer on the I2C bus that reads a DS2482's (and a DS2484's) commands, from reset and write byte to the search triplet and channel select, and ties each to the 1-Wire slots it makes. One view then reads from the controller's I2C write to a DS1990's id or a DS18x20's temperature. It takes three channels: SCL, SDA and the 1-Wire line.

Where it stands

Being built, with real DS2482S-800 and DS2484 bridges on our bench. Demo video coming. The request it came from.

A paid add-on; none is for sale yet. Everyone named on its request page keeps it free. Core and add-ons.
