NovaOS on the DHO800/DHO900 vs the MHO900

NovaOS, our own operating system, runs on both: here are the Rigol DHO800/DHO900 and the Rigol MHO900 as NovaOS sees them, on the units we own, a DHO924S and an MHO934.

These are NovaOS's figures, on our own units, with our own software. Every figure here is NovaOS running on the units we own, dated, and shown only when both were measured the same way within a day of this page's build (2026-10-17). NovaOS is in active development: these figures, and how much of each scope's hardware NovaOS uses, will change as we keep optimising it and find how to get the most out of the hardware. They are not a verdict on any maker's hardware, or on its own firmware. NovaOS is independent software, not made or endorsed by Rigol.

The DHO924S is rated at 250 MHz and the MHO934 at 350 MHz.
With one channel on, the DHO924S samples at up to 1.25 GSa/s and the MHO934 at up to 4 GSa/s.
Only the MHO934 has a 50 Ω input.
