The DL3031A is the same load with a 30 kHz dynamic mode, finer current readback and digital I/O as standard.
Draws a set, adjustable current (or holds a set voltage, resistance or power) from a power supply or battery, to test how the source behaves under load.
Loads a supply or board under test from a script: steps the current while the scope captures the rail, so ripple, load transients and efficiency are measured on a real, repeatable load.
It draws a set current from the board or supply under test while a scope captures the rail: load steps for transient response, ripple at a known load, and a repeatable load for NovaOS's power analysis. For the current probe it is the known current: a scope channel in amps is compared with the load's own measured current.
The tests we will run with it next; the results will appear here.
