CH2 What it does

Makes signals (sine, square, pulses, any shape you draw) so a scope has something known to measure.

What we use it for

A source that is not the scope's own: Bode sweeps, glitches, runts and arbitrary signals for the trigger and measurement tests.

A scope's own generator cannot check the scope on its own: a Bode plot made with it measures the scope against itself. The DG902 Pro is an independent source: a swept sine for the Bode plot and the band limits, glitches, runts and arbitrary signals for NovaOS's trigger tests, and, locked to the GPS clock's 10 MHz, frequencies known well enough to check the scopes' frequency readings.

CH3 What we will measure

The tests we will run with it when it arrives; the results will appear here.
